We Need You

The Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail needs to show the Warner Selectboard there is broad support for the rail trail, and in particular support for them to move forward with a fully funded grant to build a trail near Exit 9 of Interstate 89.

YOU ARE NEEDED!

Your support is crucial at this time. The organization, Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail, wishes to demonstrate to the Warner Selectboard that the rail trail has extensive endorsement, particularly in securing a fully funded grant for constructing a trail adjacent to Exit 9 of Interstate 89.

The Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail (a 501c3 non-profit) applied for a grant through Representative Kuster's office to build this project.  In December of 2022, we were awarded the grant. In the spring of 2023, we raised the matching funds. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation, which is administering the funds, is requiring the project to be managed by the Town of Warner.  We need you to express your support to the town for moving forward with this fully funded grant. The grant process includes multiple public hearings and opportunities to shape the project.

We are meeting with the Selectboard on Tuesday, September 5th at 6:30 PM at Warner Town Hall, 5 East Main St, Warner, NH 03278.

Option 1: If you can attend in person this has a strong impact.
Option 2: If you prefer to express your support via email please send an email by clicking on one of the buttons below.  You can edit the content or just send it.  It's helpful if you add your name and town. We will make sure your email reaches the select board.
